Abstract
It is well known that the two most critical factors in getting into a quality law school is GPA and score of the Law School Admissions Test (LSAT). Up until this year, St. John Fisher students were left to only have independent study, paying for materials and courses. This leads to thousands of dollars that the particular students would have to pay. No institution in New York State has a for credit LSAT prep course to ensure that’s such a course. At St. John Fisher University, we have taken the first steps in making a pilot program to evaluate student performance. This presentation outlines the on-going study into the correlation between having a college sponsored LSAT course and LSAT scores. This presentation also summarizes our findings and offers recommendations to improve the program in the coming years.
