Abstract
This workshop-style presentation builds upon a basic knowledge of SBIRT by demonstrating how expanding interprofessional team-based training to include a variety of experiential exercises, increases proficiency, confidence, and the likelihood that SBIRT will be implemented with fidelity in patient care settings. Audience participation is encouraged through case studies, small group exercises, role play/training video excerpts, and use of a game-based learning app.
