Abstract
Education is an important issue among the society's youth. Some students need extra reinforcement and support to fully understand topics and concepts. There are many learning centers and tutors that are out to help build students' success both in and out of school. This study was done in order to find out how effective learning centers and tutors are on students' grades, as well as, performances. The study was conducted at the Sylvan Learning Center, where data was collected on diagnostic and progress testing, along with report cards. This data was collected in order to show that learning centers are beneficial for students' grades, motivation, focus, and performance. The study favored the Sylvan Learning Center. Results were shown that students who attended the Sylvan Learning Center improved their grades, as well as, their foundational and fundamental skills.
