Abstract
This semester, I assisted Dr. Gantner in marketing and PR for the St. John Fisher Honors Program. We first started by brainstorming Fisher's target desired audience which were prospective students and their parents. I started by analyzing the Honor Program's web presence and suggested some edits to their section of the Fisher website that would make it more visually appealing. I figured that providing visual examples of honors keystones would make it seem like a more tangible task to prospective students as to make it less intimidating.
Through this brainstorming process, Dr. Gantner suggested that I create a trifold/pamphlet that is transformable as a poster that showcases the honors program and provides a few real examples of student keystones. I asked several honors students for project examples and was able to create a visual that had an honors program description supplemented with a few keystone examples that showcased research, independent studies with the honors publication, and study abroad.
