Abstract
Erythropoietin Receptor (EPOR) is an important receptor on cultured human erythroblasts (red blood cell precursors) that must be activated by the use of erythropoietin (EPO). EPO is prohibitively expensive to an undergraduate laboratory. In this project we will synthesize and test various sgRNAs to determine which has the highest efficiency of DNA manipulations of JAK2 for continued research.
