Abstract

In this presentation, we will share the topic-based one-sheet we used to facilitate a dialogue in our HNRS-2599 class on the topic of the Fisher Commons as a Third Space. In this facilitation, we highlighted the cozy feeling and variety of seating options available in the Fisher Commons, as well as how this location fit the qualities of a third space. Specific issues we explored related to this topic were how students felt in this area after observing both themselves and others in this location.
