Abstract
Artificial intelligence is becoming a major part of everyday life, especially in areas like healthcare and hiring. While it can be very effective at specific tasks, it doesn’t actually understand information the way humans do. Instead, AI relies on recognizing patterns, which can lead to errors, bias, and problems in more complex situations. In this presentation, I’ll explore the key limitations of AI, including its lack of common sense and true reasoning. I’ll also explain why it’s important that AI is used to support, not replace, human decision-making, and why improving transparency and oversight is critical moving forward.
