Abstract
I have two working forecast models, one for gold and one for silver. I have also done error statistics and found that both of my models are statistically significant. On top of the models, I have created a step by step guide on how to create your own forecast model using a linear regression with examples for each step. For this step by step walk through I used Monroe County high school graduation rate percent as my independent variable, ELA, Math, Science test scores, attendance rate, spending per student and student to teacher ratio as my dependent variables. I am planning on putting my findings for my gold and silver models on a large poster for the keystone showcase. I also am going to print out copies of my step by step guide to hand out to people who are interested in how the model was created and how they can create one of their own models using excel. The audience of my presentation is mainly business students, however I will try to make it to appeal to as many people as possible!
