Abstract
A study was conducted to analyze the influence of trust that managers develop with their colleagues and superiors, on the outcome of their performance evaluations. A total of 105 subjects from 35 organizations participated in the study. Scales were developed to evaluate dimensions of performance. Results indicated that the development of a positive and optimistic behavior promotes a positive performance evaluation.
