Abstract

Providing anesthesia is a complex skill and hands-on training is vital. Virtual reality simulation (VRS) can replace traditional simulation in anesthesia training. Research has found increased clinical competence and decreased training time for surgical students using VRS. The purpose of this review is to determine the impact of VRS-based anesthesia training on clinical competence in anesthesia students.
