Abstract
The area of study will focus on researching redox batteries and identifying suitible electroactive molecules. The initial plan is to explore different types of molecules, assess their solubility and stability for use in the battery. Once the potential molecules are identified, we will determine which are best suited for optimal reactions for energy storage and conversion. Our work will involve naphthoquinone and anthraquinone derivatives. We will focus on characterizing solubility, electrochemical properties, and chemical stability, while also investigating new methods to improve the redox batteries.
