Abstract

A review of proposed NYS Assembly Bill A00137 which expands scope of practice for Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners, addresses gaps in psychiatric care for residents in adult care facilities and establishes guidelines to improve care coordination at time of admission and discharge from mental health facilities.
