Abstract
My presentation: is basically to see how to decrease retention rates and increase academic success and get more class time for kids in general, especially kids with disabilities, by using telehealth. Telehealth will give students more access to mental health Counselors and nurses in schools so they won’t miss out on class and have to go to the doctors but will be able to video chat or zoom a provider, it will give kids with disabilities who have no transportation or who have frequent doctor appointments easy access to a healthcare provider. This will increase funding for schools possibly, this will increase grades and kids behaving well in school, even for the parents it will help because they will be able to have close access to a provider at their child’s school instead of having to go some place else. My primary audience is school teachers, nurses, parents with children.
