Abstract

This project looks at causes of driveline infections in LVAD patients with heart failure, and the procedures in place at Strong to prevent them. It also looks at evidence-based practices of other hospitals and compares them to what is being done at strong. The primary audience for this presentation is nursing faculty and cardiac care health professionals.
