Abstract
What does a healthy Black feminine rage narrative look like, and how could that be used to build a future that addresses Black pain and embraces the idea of Black pleasure? This chapter explores this question by taking an in-depth look at Nalo Hopkinson’s novel Sister Mine to explore the story’s embrace of black feminine rage. Hopkinson’s novel explores Black feminine rage and uses it to move beyond the continuous reinscription of Black pain to arrive at a place that both creates and embraces the possibility of Black pleasure.
