Abstract
In lieu of an abstract, below is the essay's first paragraph.
"According to the on line site, Dictionary.com, the word discernment has four viable meanings that relate to ‘acuteness of judgment’ or ‘using keen insight.’ The ability to discern, then, is a process in determining a potential outcome or judgment. Lately, discernment has become a ‘hot’ word for Catholics, in particular young Catholics, who are searching for their next step in life and their faith development."
