Abstract
My presentation is going to be created from the extensive research paper that I am writing on the biomedical ethics of palliative psychiatry in patients specifically with Anorexia Nervosa. The paper as well as the presentation will explore ethical frameworks that can be applied to this medical practice by diving into case studies, looking at arguments of people currently in the field, analyzing what criteria needs to be taken into account, and more. This Keystone was added to the Biomedical Ethics course I am taking this semester so the audience is my classmates. However, this presentation is also tailored to everyone (college students, professors, healthcare providers) to bring awareness to this new and controversial branch in medicine, of palliative care for psychiatry disorders.
